Boofy's has made many appearances in Albuquerque The Magazine over the years, but our profile in the October 2019 issue is probably our favorite. Halloween month seemed like the perfect time to update our (in)famous "Albuquerque Gothic" photo from 2011, as well as disclose our recent status change from "alive and breathing" to "zombified and brain-eating." (Contrary to popular opinion, this was not caused by eating grain-free foods.) Being a small business owner can drain the life right out of a person, but please know that even as zombies we are still there for you and your pets!
Here's our business profile from the October 2019 issue of Albuquerque The Magazine:
“Our focus has not changed despite becoming zombies. Since opening Boofy’s Best For Pets in 2010, our mission has always been to offer superior foods, treats, and nutritional supplements at price ranges to fit any budget,” Jeff Smith says. Though it has been several months since becoming undead, co-owners Smith and Lisa McKitrick continue to seek out new and interesting products in order to provide local pets with healthier options.
“We love to eat brains just like other zombies do,” McKitrick says. “What makes us different, is that we also love your dogs and cats almost as much as you do. That’s why we are here – so you don’t have to subject your pets to the horrors of bad pet foods!” The supernatural staff at Boofy’s loves to get to know each of their four-legged customers in order to provide individualized product recommendations. The experts at Boofy’s are always striving to help you provide the very Best For your Pets.
